Set up in 1988, the Indore Cancer Foundation has a powerful record of service. It's team has reached out through more than 200 free cancer detection camps to quarter million people across Madhya Pradesh, part of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujerat and Chhattisgarh, identifying high risk cancer populations, training doctors on pain relief for terminally sick patients, nurses on cancer nursing and home care and primary health workers on identifying pre cancers through house to house surveys on that tobacco habits.

During the Covid pandemic the institute treated patients of cancer, brought out a hindi book in

digital format for patients on cancer treatment during covid times that is available on its website www.indorecancerfoundation.org

The Indore Cancer Foundation has brought out the first hindi mobile app on cancer awareness which is free, takes one minute to download, available on play store and ios and helpful in identifying risk issues for common cancers. This free app in hindi, brought out by Indore Cancer Foundation is known as cancer sanket . It helps to offer education about cancer at home.

The Indore Cancer Foundation is developing a charitable cancer center for India's commonest cancers in men the mouth and throat cancers.

After all, we have to focus and solve problems of our commonest medical problems within India . Let's all get together in this fight to defeat our common enemy: "cancer."

A public charitable trust,  running a charitable cancer treatment centre for India's commonest cancers the mouth and throat cancers .These cancers can impact  voice, swallowing and cosmetic appearances to name a few challenges The focus is on poor patients through service with compassion. No patient is refused treatment for want of money.There is a dedicated palliative center for terminally ill patients to offer pain relief. The medical  team is led by Dr Digpal Dharkar, surgical oncologist,  who has done hundreds of free cancer operations.
